DMX 16/32/64

Format converting modules

All DMX versions use the same modules.

Each module connects to the matrix with 4 inputs and 4 outputs. Each input and each output has 2 channels.

The 8-channel formats, ADAT and TDIF, are split into 4 stereo signals, which
can be routed to any destination in
the matrix, while 4 stereo sources are merged into one ADAT or TDIF output.

DIP switches select CONSUMER format or PROFESSIONAL for the stereo lines, returned to the matrix, and enable or disable sample rate conversion in the path towards the ADAT or TDIF output.
